About the Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- A HDD operator is required to complete the following tasks
o Arrive at job site and determine a bore path and set up for the HDD.
o Offload, inspect, and set up the HDD. This includes setting up the water tanks, mixing bore gel, and grounding the machine.
o Identify utilities in the bore path when marked and also identify any possible utilities that are not marked.
o Operates the HDD for bore and pull back.
o Assists in the assembly of back reaming and pull back equipment.
o Tear down of the HDD as well as loading and securing the HDD.
o Assist with restoration and clean up of the job site.
o Maintain and properly use all associated tooling.
Compensation Package
- Signatory with Local 18 International Union of Operating Engineers
- Benefits through IUOE 18
Requirements
Must have minimum 2 years experience as a HDD Drill Operator. Must have drivers license, CDL preferred, but not required.
IUOE 18 Union position, if currently not an active member, we can help you become a member or reinstate your membership to the local jurisdiction.
